Life is full of decisions. Some of those are a little heavier than others—which college to attend, what job to take, how to parent, whom to marry, what car to buy.

So how do you navigate all those decisions? How can you make the correct one?

Throughout the Bible, God is given many names which echo His character. In Exodus 17, Moses built an altar and called its name Jehovah-Nissi, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner.

But how does a banner represent God?

In chaotic or stormy seasons of life, it’s easy to wonder, “Where is God? Why isn’t He stopping this?”

But sometimes the better “why” question is, “Why are you running from God?”

What do you believe you can’t do?

Did you grow up believing you were dumb because someone told you that as a child? Do you believe you can’t succeed in life? Do you believe you’re not good enough?

None of those thoughts sound like they come from God, so maybe it’s time to question them.

Most of us would agree that once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our spirit is changed in an instant and we have eternal salvation.

But what if we sin after receiving salvation? Is God mad at us? Does that change who we are?

The new year is finally upon us—a fresh start to another trip around the sun.

And with the beginning of this new adventure, what are you believing God will do in your life during 2022?
