Resurrection Day

Peter’s lungs filled and collapsed in rapid succession as he tried to catch his breath. He rested his hand on the rough-cut stone of the dimly lit tomb.

In the place where there should have been a dead body, Peter saw nothing more than a pile of neatly folded linen cloths.

Jesus wasn’t there. He had risen.
