IT HELP-DESK ASSOCIATE

Life Church is looking for a competent IT Help-Desk Associate to help with our growing technology needs. This general purpose is to provide user support and customer service in a mixed Mac and Windows environment for computer applications and platforms, as well as printer and VoIP, troubleshoot problems, and advise on the appropriate action.

Required Education and Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Great customer service skills with a positive and motivated demeanor necessary.
  • Comfortable with basic computer technology

Recommended Experience 

  • Experience with Azure, ESXi, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and
  • General networking knowledge not required but a big plus.
  • A+ certification or equivalent technical experience plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

CONNECTIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

This position is responsible for assisting the Life Church Connections Department with connecting people to God and creating a warm and welcoming place for all who attend.  They will assist with coordinating and interacting with all levels of the department’s day-to-day operations and the organization on various projects and tasks.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Must be able to read English and write it legibly
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy, with an emphasis in Microsoft 365 Suite; Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
  • Must be able to learn and retain new skills and computer software and databases
  • High energy with enthusiasm for connecting people to God and multiplying His Kingdom
  • Ability to analyze, reason, and make decisions
  • Discretion with confidential matters
  • Ability to positively interact with others
  • Ability to effectively send and receive communication

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
  • Will monitor multiple projects and assignments based on priority
  • Process assigned paperwork and tasks, quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Develop, update, and maintain calendars, spreadsheets and reports
  • Manage multiple tasks using problem solving skills when required
  • Respond to all questions and requests politely and promptly, in person and on the phone.

MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Maintenance position will undertake handyman duties. They will be responsible for inspecting, fixing, and maintaining the building and grounds, mechanical equipment and machines (including by not limited to heating and cooling, plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, and electrical repairs). This position will ensure the building and staff follow local regulations and standards alongside the HR Director.

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • In depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Be able to read English and write it legibly
  • Analyze, reason, and have independent judgment
  • Self-motivate and make decisions
  • Positively interact with others
  • Effectively send and receive communication
  • Professional representation of Life Church in all-areas, including dress-code
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
  • Perform minor repairs
  • Install appliances and equipment
  • Oversee contract landscaping, major building and plumbing repairs, and carpentry
  • Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces
  • Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment
  • Participate in different church-wide projects (e.g., renovations, events)
  • Facilitate clean-up
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and manage a volunteer crew for maintenance work
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required
